Bhubaneswar,  July 9 [UDN}:  The meeting focused on assessing the current status of coffee plantations across the district and identifying measures to enhance productivity. Officials discussed strategies for expanding cultivation, improving farmer support, and ensuring better market linkages. The District Collector emphasized coordinated efforts among all departments to promote sustainable coffee farming and strengthen the livelihoods of tribal farmers. The review also highlighted the importance of quality production, value addition, and increasing Koraput’s recognition as a leading coffee-growing region.
