As part of its vision to build an innovation-driven Odisha, the Government is modernising Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) by establishing Centres of Excellence (CoEs) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Labs. These initiatives are designed to provide students with advanced technical training, hands-on learning experiences and exposure to emerging technologies, enabling them to meet the evolving demands of industry.
In parallel, the Government is promoting entrepreneurship through flagship initiatives such as Nano Unicorn, which aims to nurture innovative ideas and transform aspiring entrepreneurs into successful startup founders. The programme provides a supportive ecosystem that encourages innovation, enterprise creation and employment generation across the state.
The State Government envisions a robust skilling ecosystem where young people are empowered with the knowledge, technical expertise and entrepreneurial mindset needed to compete in the global economy.
