Buguda,July 10 [UDN}: The 77th Van Mahotsav Week was celebrated at Balipadar High School under Buguda Block. Presiding over the programme, Headmaster Prashant Kumar Gouda welcomed the guests. Forest Range Officer Manas Kumar Sahu attended as the chief guest and explained to the students the significance of celebrating Van Mahotsav. He also advised them to actively participate in tree plantation activities.
On this occasion, saplings were planted within the school premises and an awareness rally was organized by the students.
Similarly, Van Mahotsav Week was celebrated at Motabadi Sri Gopinath Vidyapitha under the chairmanship of Headmaster Umakanta Das. Range Officer Manas Kumar Sahu attended as the chief guest, while Foresters Sudhir Kumar Pattnaik and Abhiram Khil joined as honoured guests.
Likewise, tree plantation activities were carried out during the Van Mahotsav celebration at the premises of the local Court of the Judicial Magistrate First Class. The programme was attended by Judge Sudhashree Surjhalia, Forest Range Officer Manas Kumar Sahu, advocates Bibhudatta Nayak, Sai Santoshini Pradhan, Amar Pattnaik and Manas Ranjan Dash, among others.
