The appointment letters were given to candidates selected for positions in nine state government departments. The recruitment is expected to strengthen the workforce in key departments while providing selected candidates with stable career opportunities in public service.
The Nijukti Mela was held at the Rail Auditorium in Bhubaneswar, where newly selected candidates received their appointment letters and began a new chapter in their professional lives.
Among the departments covered by the recruitment were Housing and Urban Development, Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water, Energy, Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment, Health and Family Welfare, Fisheries and Animal Resources Development, Sports and Youth Services, Skill Development and Technical Education, and Excise.
The appointments span a range of areas directly connected with public services, including urban development, rural administration, energy, agriculture, healthcare, skill development and other sectors.
For the newly selected candidates, the appointment letters represent an important milestone after their selection process and provide an opportunity to build careers while contributing to government services and the communities they serve.
The recruitment is also expected to strengthen manpower in government departments and support more efficient delivery of public services across the state.
The state government’s continuing focus on recruitment is aimed at creating more employment opportunities for young people while ensuring that government departments have the personnel required to meet the needs of citizens.
For many of the candidates and their families, the appointment marks more than the start of a new job. It brings the possibility of greater career stability, professional growth and an opportunity to contribute to Odisha’s development through public service.
The Nijukti Mela reflects the importance of connecting qualified young people with employment opportunities and strengthening the state’s workforce at the same time.
