As technology continues to reshape the way we live, work and learn, preparing students for a future driven by Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) and emerging technologies has become increasingly important. In this direction, Birla Open Minds and AeroBay are coming together to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate an evolving, technology-driven world. The two came together in January 2025, with discussions focusing on emerging fields such as AI, ML, aerospace, drones, robotics, e-vehicles, design thinking, entrepreneurship and other STEM disciplines. The collaboration aims to give students exposure to cutting-edge technologies and their real-world applications, while fostering curiosity, innovation and a future-ready mindset.
The initiative is aligned with NEP 2020 and CBSE Skill Education modules, encouraging students to move beyond theoretical understanding and learn through experimentation, creation and problem-solving. The focus is on developing critical thinking, creativity, innovation, collaboration and skills that can prepare students for emerging career pathways.
As part of the interaction, Nirvaan Birla, Managing Director, Birla Open Minds, and Neha Chauhan, Founder, AeroBay, engaged in conversations around various equipment and technologies and explored how these can be translated into meaningful learning experiences for students. The discussion also highlighted how students can use technology to design and build models, understand how different systems work and apply classroom concepts to create solutions of their own.

Ms Neha Chauhan, Founder & CEO, Aerobay, said, “The need today is to make technology accessible and understandable to young learners. When students see a drone, build a model, work with robotics or understand how an aerospace system functions, they begin to connect science with the world around them. Our role is to give them the right tools, exposure and guidance so that they can move from simply learning about technology to creating with it. The curiosity we see in students is remarkable, and when that curiosity is supported with hands-on experiences, it can become innovation.”
The collaboration reflects the growing importance of technology-driven and multidisciplinary learning in preparing students for a rapidly evolving future. By giving young learners opportunities to explore, build and innovate, such initiatives are helping create a generation that is not only prepared to adapt to emerging technologies but is also confident enough to shape them.
