Bhubaneswar, Aug 12 [UDN}:The state-level Independence Day celebrations in Odisha are set to be observed with grandeur and patriotic fervour. The Chief Minister of Odisha will hoist the national flag at the main Independence Day ceremony in Bhubaneswar, where a series of official programmes and ceremonial events will be organised to mark the historic occasion.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Chief Ministers will participate in Independence Day celebrations across 15 different districts of the state, representing the state government at district-level ceremonies. Their participation is expected to add significance to the celebrations and provide an opportunity to interact with local administrations, public representatives and citizens.
The Independence Day programmes will include flag hoisting ceremonies, parades, cultural performances and other patriotic events, with government departments and district administrations making preparations to ensure the celebrations are conducted smoothly and respectfully.
The arrangements are being made across Odisha to commemorate the nation’s independence and to honour the sacrifices of freedom fighters who played a crucial role in India’s struggle for freedom.
