SBI RSETI Garment-Making Training for Women Concludes Successfully, Encouraging Entrepreneurship, Employment and Financial Independence

Koraput, Aug 19 [UDN}:: A free residential training programme on “Tailor Elective-I: Women’s Garment Making”, jointly organised by the SBI Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) and DM AU, for school-dropout rural youth, has been successfully completed.
The 31-day training programme was attended by 33 trainees from different blocks of Koraput district. The participants were provided practical knowledge and skills in women’s garment making, quality control, marketing, self-employment and setting up enterprises.
During the inaugural ceremony, LDM Devendra Kumar Tripathy encouraged the trainees to undergo the training sincerely and adopt the skills as a means of livelihood.
At the valedictory ceremony, RSETI Director Masha Murmu distributed certificates to all successful trainees. She advised them to utilise their newly acquired skills to establish their own enterprises, become self-reliant and improve their livelihoods.
SBI-RSETI faculty member Bhuloka Bihari Mahanty briefed the trainees on various aspects of enterprise development and self-employment. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks.
