After witnessing a young man lying injured and struggling on the roadside following a road accident, the District Collector immediately came to his aid. He personally transported the injured youth to the hospital in his official vehicle and ensured that he received the necessary medical treatment.
The two senior administrative officers have set a remarkable example of compassion and humanity. According to reports, Malkangiri District Collector Prathamesh Aravind Rajeshirke and Superintendent of Police Vinod Patil had gone to the area for an urgent field visit. While returning from the visit, they noticed an accident victim lying injured on the roadside.
Without wasting any time, the Collector and SP stopped their vehicles, took the injured youth in their vehicle and rushed him to the hospital. They also consulted the doctors and ensured that the young man received the required medical attention and treatment.
Their prompt response and humanitarian gesture have been widely appreciated, demonstrating that administrative responsibility is not limited to official duties but also involves standing by people in distress and helping them in times of need.
