Pradhan Raises Concern Over Poor Condition of NH-55, Appeals for Urgent Repair and Restoration Work Without Further Delay

Bhubaneswar,Aug 27 [UDN}:Dharme ndra Pradhan has written a letter to the Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, urging immediate intervention and urgent repair of National Highway-55 (NH-55) in Odisha. In his letter, Pradhan highlighted the deteriorating condition of the highway and requested that necessary repair and restoration work be undertaken without further delay.
He emphasized that the poor condition of NH-55 is causing considerable inconvenience to commuters and affecting the smooth movement of vehicles and transportation of goods. The highway is a crucial road corridor connecting several important parts of Odisha and plays a significant role in facilitating communication, trade, commerce and economic activities across the region.
Pradhan therefore urged the concerned authorities to take immediate steps to repair the damaged stretches of NH-55, improve road safety and ensure that the highway remains safe and accessible for commuters. He requested the Union Ministry to give priority to the matter and expedite the necessary maintenance and repair works in the larger public interest.
