Aug 31: PVR INOX Limited has opened a new six-screen cinema with a seating capacity of 949 at Brigade Cornerstone Utopia on Varthur Road, near Whitefield, marking its 28th cinema in Bengaluru.
The new property brings the company’s contemporary cinema experience to a fast-evolving part of the city, with a strong focus on convenience, comfort and entertainment.
Located within Arcadia at Brigade Cornerstone Utopia, the cinema is part of an integrated residential and lifestyle development, serving both the township and the wider Whitefield–Varthur Road catchment. With residential communities, retail and leisure destinations increasingly shaping the corridor, the property is positioned as a natural entertainment anchor for the surrounding community. It brings together films, food and social experiences in one setting, offering audiences a convenient destination to spend time before, during and after a movie.
Opening with Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, starring Yash, the cinema gives audiences in Whitefield the opportunity to experience one of the year’s most anticipated films in a new, premium setting.
Across its six screens, the cinema features all-laser projection, Dolby 7.1 surround sound and Next-Gen 3D. Two auditoriums are equipped with DTSX immersive sound, creating a more expansive sound experience for major releases and premium content.
The auditorium experience is complemented by Celebrity Recliners and Lounger Seats, offering audiences greater choice and elevated comfort. Contemporary interiors, refined detailing and a hospitality-led design approach create a polished environment that begins at arrival and extends beyond the screening.
The cinema also introduces PVR INOX’s new Cinema Food Court concept, bringing food, beverage and hospitality into a more central part of the moviegoing experience. Designed for audiences to meet, dine, relax and spend time together, the concept adds a more social and experiential dimension to a visit to the cinema.
