91 Folk Artists from Ganjam Receive Honour from the President for Preserving and Promoting Odisha’s Traditional Cultural Heritage

Ganjam, Sept 4 [UDN}:Ninety-one folk artists from five prominent cultural troupes of Ganjam district had the honour of meeting the President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi.

The President felicitated and honoured all the artists on the occasion. The Ganjam District Collector, along with several other officials, also met the Hon’ble President at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Appreciating Ganjam’s rich folk arts and vibrant cultural heritage, President Droupadi Murmu praised the artists for preserving and promoting the region’s traditional cultural identity. She also encouraged them to strive for excellence and achieve greater success in their respective fields.

The interaction and recognition at Rashtrapati Bhavan marked a proud and memorable moment for the artists and for the rich cultural heritage of Ganjam district.
