Bhubaneswar, Sept. 4 (UDN): The Odisha Legislative Assembly will convene the 17th Session of the 17th Assembly on September 22, with proceedings scheduled to continue until October 3, according to the provisional calendar released by the Assembly Secretariat.

The session will primarily focus on official government business, with sittings planned on most working days during the two-week schedule.
September 25 (Friday) has been reserved for Private Members’ Business, during which legislators will be able to introduce private members’ Bills and move resolutions.
The Assembly will remain adjourned on September 26 and 27, while October 2 will be observed as a holiday on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.
The upcoming session is expected to witness discussions on key legislative and policy matters concerning the state.
