Delhi, Sept 5 [UDN}: India has sent the fifth phase of humanitarian assistance to Nepal for people affected by devastating floods. The fifth Indian aircraft carried an 11-member specialist rescue team, specialised rescue equipment, and 5.5 tonnes of essential medicines.
External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar informed about the latest assistance, which has taken India’s total relief supplies sent to Nepal to 68.5 tonnes.
The assistance aims to accelerate medical care, rescue operations, and relief efforts in flood-affected areas.
