Kodala(Ganjam), Sept. 7 (UDN): As part of the ongoing Zero Fatality Week and road safety awareness campaign, police in Ganjam district conducted traffic awareness programmes at Kabisuryanagar and Kodala to promote responsible road use and prevent accidents.

Kabisuryanagar Police organised a traffic awareness campaign at Budhamba Chhaka under Kabisuryanagar Police Station. During the programme, road users were sensitised about the importance of safe and responsible driving and adherence to traffic regulations.
In a separate initiative, Kodala Police conducted a traffic awareness programme with members of the Drivers’ Association at the Kodala Market area.

The initiatives are part of the broader Zero Fatality campaign aimed at creating greater awareness among motorists and other road users and reducing the risk of fatal road accidents.
Police urged citizens to adopt responsible road behaviour and follow traffic regulations to help make roads safer.
“Drive Safe, Follow Traffic Rules, Save Lives” remained the key message of the awareness campaign.
