Cuttack, Sept 7 [UDN}:Visitors to this year’s Bali Yatra will not be able to enjoy certain high-risk amusement rides. Hammer rides and single-tower rides have been banned due to safety concerns.
The Mina Bazaar Mahasangh has also decided not to allow the installation of old rides. A special technical team will be formed to inspect and verify the safety standards of other rides.
The decision comes after an incident last year when 16 people were stranded on a 70-foot-high single-tower ride.
Bali Yatra is scheduled to be held from November 24 to December 1, with preparations underway at both grounds. Authorities will also ensure that a safe distance is maintained between amusement rides.
