Devotees’ Offerings Counted as Donation Hundi Opened at Maa Jagatjanani Temple in Jeypore

Jeypore:  Oct 5 [UDN}:The donation hundi at the Maa Jagatjanani Temple in Jeypore town was opened for counting in the presence of temple authorities and servitors. The money offered by devotees over the collection period was taken out from the hundi and counted as part of the temple’s regular donation management process.

The hundi contained contributions made by devotees visiting the temple to seek the blessings of Maa Jagatjanani. Temple authorities and servitors jointly supervised the opening and counting of the offerings to ensure proper handling of the donated funds.

According to the temple authorities, the amount collected through the hundi will be utilised for various religious activities, rituals and other developmental works of the temple. The funds are expected to support the smooth conduct of religious programmes as well as maintenance and improvement-related activities within the temple premises.
