Bhubaneswar: Oct 5 [UDN}:The Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) is planning to organise a major youth-focused programme titled ‘Chhatro Ki Goonj’ in the state capital, with an aim to bring together around 20,000 members of Generation Z.
According to Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee president Bhakta Charan Das, preparations are being planned for the proposed programme, which is expected to be held in October. The party is seeking to use the event as a platform to engage with young people and students on issues concerning the younger generation.
Das said that the state Congress has already been in communication with Rahul Gandhi’s team regarding the proposed programme. The PCC president further stated that permission has been sought from Rahul Gandhi’s team in connection with the event.
The proposed ‘Chhatro Ki Goonj’ programme is therefore expected to be a significant youth outreach initiative of the Odisha Congress, with the party planning to mobilise a large number of young participants in the capital.
