Bhubaneswar, Oct 7 [UDN}:The Odisha Government has reiterated its commitment to strengthening the state’s education system and ensuring the welfare of teachers.
At a high-level meeting held at Lok Seva Bhawan today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, the Ashok Tripathy Committee submitted its report on various issues concerning teachers across the state.
The committee examined issues faced by teachers serving in primary, upper-primary, high schools and higher secondary schools. As part of its deliberations, the committee held discussions with representatives of 104 teachers’ associations and prepared a set of recommendations based on the concerns and suggestions received from them.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi said the government would carefully examine all the recommendations submitted by the committee. He stated that the state government would take appropriate decisions at the earliest after due consideration of the recommendations.
The move is aimed at addressing long-standing issues concerning teachers and further strengthening the education system in Odisha.
