A preparatory meeting was conducted by respected Poma Tudu Madam with officials of all line departments at the Block Conference Hall to review preparedness and coordination measures for effective cyclone management.

Following the meeting, she visited various flood shelters to inspect the arrangements and assess the preparedness measures in place to ensure the safety and security of people during the impending cyclone. The review focused on strengthening interdepartmental coordination and ensuring that necessary facilities and emergency support are available to residents in vulnerable areas.

The initiative aims to enhance disaster preparedness and ensure a prompt and effective response to any emergency arising from the cyclone.
