Koraput, Nov 5 (UDN): PM-KISAN Utsav Diwas was celebrated today to mark the transfer of the 24th instalment under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme. During a national-level programme organised at Banaskantha in Gujarat, Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually transferred the funds for the 24th instalment to eligible beneficiary farmers across the country.
As part of this initiative, a total of 74,044 beneficiary farmers in Koraput district received financial assistance amounting to ₹14,80,88,000 (₹14.80 crore) under the scheme.
