Bhubaneswar’s Patha Utsav Brings the City Together for a Day of Culture and Fun

Bhubaneswar, January 13 – The second Patha Utsav of the year at Jagamara New Road was a vibrant celebration, drawing a large crowd of citizens eager to enjoy a day of creativity, culture, and community. The event was launched by Housing and Urban Development Minister Krushna Chandra Mahapatra, along with local leaders like Ekamra-Bhubaneswar MLA Babu Singh and City Mayor Sulochana Das.

Minister Mahapatra emphasized the importance of Patha Utsav in promoting a healthy lifestyle and fostering creativity in Bhubaneswar. He encouraged residents to participate in these weekly celebrations, noting that Patha Utsav would be held every Sunday throughout the year, creating a regular space for people to come together and engage in cultural activities.

The event featured a lively main stage, with captivating performances by popular artists like singers Aseema Panda and Satyajeet Pradhan, rapper Big Deal, and the Jaydev Dance Group. In addition to the stage performances, attendees enjoyed a variety of activities such as folk dances, street performances, art displays, food stalls, rangoli, yoga sessions, and the Bhubaneswar Got Talent show.

Patha Utsav continues to offer a unique opportunity for Bhubaneswar’s residents to enjoy the arts, connect with their community, and celebrate the city’s rich cultural diversity, making it an event to look forward to every Sunday throughout the year.
