7th December 2024: The 6th Odisha State Book Fair is set to begin at the Unit-3 exhibition ground in Bhubaneswar. The fair will run daily from 2 PM to 9 PM until December 17. Organized by the Odisha Government’s Department of Odia Language, Literature, and Culture, the event aims to celebrate and promote Odia language, literature, and culture.
This year, the fair will focus solely on book publishers and sellers, with no space allocated for non-book businesses or promotional activities. Featuring 482 stalls, the fair will host around 200 publishers and booksellers. In addition, various stages, pavilions, and exhibitions will be organized to highlight Odia heritage and literature.
