Bhubaneswar, Nov 28: The Odisha government is preparing to introduce the National Education Policy (NEP) in schools across the state by 2025, as announced by School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond. He emphasized that education is the key to transforming society and shaping a brighter future for the state.
To ensure a smooth transition, a special task force has been formed, supported by six sub-committees. These groups will gather feedback from various stakeholders to make sure the NEP is tailored to the specific needs of Odisha’s education system before it is officially implemented.
Minister Gond also addressed concerns over teacher shortages, assuring that the government is taking steps to fill vacancies and strengthen the workforce. With these initiatives, Odisha is making significant strides toward enhancing its education system and ensuring quality education for all students in the state.
