Mount Sinai Health System Joins Government of Grenada to Mark Groundbreaking of Project Polaris Hospital

NEW YORK, NY, Apr 04: Mount Sinai Health System has joined forces with the Government of Grenada to mark the groundbreaking of a new general hospital under Project Polaris, a landmark initiative aimed at transforming healthcare delivery in Grenada and the wider Caribbean.

The groundbreaking ceremony, held on March 26, 2026, represents a major milestone in a collaborative effort to expand access to high-quality, patient-centered care through the development of a modern, state-of-the-art healthcare facility.

Mount Sinai is working closely with the Government of Grenada, the Project Polaris team, and key stakeholders to design and develop a facility that integrates international best practices with local healthcare needs.
