BhubaneswarMarch, 14:The Odisha Government has carried out a major reshuffle at the state administrative level. According to a notification issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance Department, several IAS officers have been assigned new responsibilities. In this process, a number of young officers, including the Sub-Collector of Padmapur, have been transferred.
Who Got Which Responsibility?
Arugula Sneha: Currently serving as Sub-Collector of Padmapur, she has been promoted and appointed as the Chief Development Officer (CDO) and Executive Officer of the Mayurbhanj Zilla Parishad.
Akshaya Pipple: The Sub-Collector of Banei has been given new charge as Additional District Magistrate (ADM) of Paradip. He has also been vested with the powers of Additional District Magistrate of Jagatsinghpur.
Jeypore Sub-Collector: The Sub-Collector of Jeypore has been appointed as Commissioner of the Brahmapur Municipal Corporation (BeMC).
Sameer Kumar Jena: The Sub-Collector of Talcher has been transferred as CDO of Ganjam Zilla Parishad.
Saumyarajan Pradhan: The Sub-Collector of Rairangpur has been posted as CDO of Kalahandi Zilla Parishad.
It is noteworthy that the IAS officer appointed as Commissioner of Brahmapur Municipal Corporation has also been given additional charge as Vice-Chairperson of the Brahmapur Development Authority (BeDA).
The notification was issued by Additional Chief Secretary Debashish Singh in accordance with the orders of the Governor. The government has reportedly taken this step to further strengthen and expedite administrative functioning.
