Bhubaneswar Celebrates the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention 2025

6th January 2025: Bhubaneswar is set to host the 18th edition of the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) Convention from January 8th to 10th, 2025, celebrating the dynamic contributions of the Indian diaspora. This prestigious event will honor the achievements of overseas Indians and highlight their role in India’s development on the global stage.

In celebration of the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas from January 5 to 16, Bhubaneswar will host a variety of cultural events, reflecting the rich traditions and heritage of Odisha. The city will come alive with performances, exhibitions, and festivals that showcase the state’s vibrant art and culture.

Ekamra Utsav (Jan 5-16): A grand celebration of Odia culture, featuring performances and exhibitions.

Ekamra Kanan Flower Show (Jan 7-11): A stunning floral display, showcasing the beauty of local horticulture.

Mukteshwar Dance Festival (Jan 7-11): Traditional dance performances held at the Mukteshwar Temple.
Odissi Dance Festival (Jan 7-11): A celebration of Odisha’s classical dance form, Odissi.

Tribal Dance and Folk Art Festival (Jan 7-11): A showcase of tribal dance and folk art forms.
