29th November 2024: Exciting news for air travelers in Odisha! Starting in January 2025, Bhubaneswar’s Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) will expand its network with new flight routes. Indigo and Air India Express will begin services to five new destinations: Indore, Dehradun, Lucknow, Jaipur, and Kochi.
Indigo will operate flights to Indore and Dehradun in the afternoon, while Air India Express will start daily flights to Kochi from January 2. This expansion is expected to enhance connectivity, making travel more convenient for passengers in the region.
These new routes will not only provide more travel options but also strengthen Bhubaneswar’s position as an emerging hub for both domestic and international flights. This development promises to make air travel more accessible and efficient for people in Odisha, opening up new opportunities for both business and leisure travel.
