Boost to Essential Commodities Supply as 48 Thousand Kilolitres of Kerosene Set for Statewide Distribution

Bhubaneswar, March, 16:  As an alternative to LPG, 48 thousand kilolitres of kerosene will be supplied to the state. This information was given by Sujata Sharma, Joint Secretary of the Petroleum Ministry.

An order has been issued in this regard, and the kerosene will be provided to the state. Every quarter, approximately 1 lakh kilolitres are usually allocated. Now, an additional order has been released for the allocation of 48 thousand kilolitres of kerosene.

About 60% of LPG is imported, and 90% of it comes through the Strait of Hormuz.
