Call to Add Khandayat to OBC List Gains Momentum; Dharmendra Leads Appeal

Bhubaneswar, Nov 25: Dharmendra has written a letter to the National Backward Classes Commission demanding the inclusion of Khandayat, Paik, Chasa Paik, Kalinga Shudra Khandayat, and Oda Paik communities—currently listed under SEBC—into the Central OBC list.

Since these communities are not included in the Central OBC list, they are deprived of the benefits of reservation in employment, education, and government schemes.

If these communities are included in the OBC list, it will promote their social and economic development.
