6th January 2025: Odisha’s Chief Minister, Shri Mohan Charan Majhi, officially launched the state-level observance of “National Road Safety Month.” To mark the occasion, the Chief Minister participated in a padyatra from Masterkantin Square to Shri Ram Mandir, highlighting the importance of road safety.
ମାନ୍ୟବର ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ମୋହନ ଚରଣ ମାଝୀ ଆଜି “ଜାତୀୟ ସଡ଼କ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ମାସ” ରାଜ୍ୟସ୍ତରୀୟ ଉତ୍ସବର ଶୁଭ ଉଦଘାଟନ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ସଡ଼କ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ସଚେତନା କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମକୁ ବ୍ୟାପକ କରିବାକୁ ମାଷ୍ଟରକ୍ୟାଣ୍ଟିନ ଛକରୁ ଶ୍ରୀରାମ ମନ୍ଦିର ଯାଏଁ ପଦଯାତ୍ରା କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମରେ ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ସାମିଲ ହୋଇଥିଲେ।

During the event, the Chief Minister encouraged citizens to turn road safety into a collective effort. He urged everyone to follow traffic rules to ensure safe travel and return home without harm. Additionally, the Chief Minister unveiled the “Odisha Yatri App,” a new initiative designed to enhance road safety. The app serves as a valuable tool to help travelers make informed decisions and ultimately protect their lives on the road.
This campaign aims to raise awareness about road safety and reduce accidents, contributing to a safer environment for all road users.
