Bhubaneswar, Dec, 08: The upcoming +2 Examinations will start from February 18 and continue until March 21. The examination dates were announced by Mrinalakanti Das, Chairman of the Board of Higher Secondary Education.
A total of 4,07,037 candidates will appear for the exam, which will be conducted across 1,350 centers. Admit cards will be issued by December 15, and 210 hub cameras will monitor the examination centers.
It is noted that the exams will run for 22 days, from February 18 to March 21. So far this year, a total of 4,07,037 students have submitted their forms. Among them:
Arts: 2,56,043 candidates
Science: 1,14,238 candidates
Commerce: 24,533 candidates
Vocational Education: 5,923 candidates
There are 1,350 exam centers this year, which may increase if required. All centers will be under AI surveillance, and CCTV coverage is mandatory at every center.
Results are expected to be declared within 40 days of the exam. Question papers will reach the examination centers by February 15. 210 surveillance officers will oversee the smooth conduct of the exams. The examinations will be conducted under strict security measures, and additional arrangements will be made at the district level for proper management. A five-tier security system will be implemented.
From January 2 to 15, practical examinations will be conducted. For the first time, the practical exams will be webcast or live-streamed.
