Kotpad, Feb, 4: Koraput District Collector Manoj Satyaban Mahajan, along with Sub-Collector A. Sasya Reddy, visited the Kotpad Notified Area Council (NAC) .
During the visit, they inspected the tamarind processing center at Basuguda in Kotpad, two newly constructed Kalyan Mandaps (community halls) currently under construction, the Kotpad Aahar Centre, and the Kotpad Block office.
The District Collector highly appreciated the functioning of the Kotpad Aahar Centre. He, along with other officials, had a meal at the centre and expressed the need for further improvement in its standards and services.
The team also visited Damayanti Sagar and Diwanmunda in the Kotpad area, as well as the newly constructed Kalyan Mandaps, and reviewed various activities under the Kotpad NAC and Block.
During the visit, Executive Officer Kamalesh Mohanty, NAC Chairman M. Shankar Rao, BDO Manoj Nayak, Additional Tahsildar Parshuram Bhatra, Double E Satyanarayan Sethi, Prashant Kachim, Gopi Majhi, Junior Engineers Sudhir Nandi and Rajesh Das, along with all staff members of the Kotpad NAC and Block and the Aahar Centre staff, were present.
Notably, the District Collector expressed high appreciation for the functioning and initiatives of the Kotpad NAC.
