Redhakhol,20th Aug 2025: In Hemamura village of Luhapank panchayat under Redhakhol block in Sambalpur district, the wife of Nripati Pati Pradhan passed away on Sunday at the age of 104.
She was the wife of late Sanatan Pradhan, the erstwhile landlord of Hemamura and Budhipani villages. Smt. Mati Pradhan, a living witness of the erstwhile monarchy, was the daughter of the landlord of Kukudabahal village.
Even today, many of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren are alive and continue to live together in a joint family.
