Expansion of Rice ATM Scheme: 4 Additional Districts Included

Bhubaneswar, March, 13:  Rice ATMs will be opened in four more districts of the state.
In response to a question by MLA Gautam Buddha Das, the Food Supplies Minister provided this information in a written reply.
The new Rice ATMs will be set up in Jharsuguda district, Nabarangpur district, Kendujhar district, and Dhenkanal district.
The state’s first Rice ATM was opened at Mancheswar in Bhubaneswar.
From July 2024 till now, 20,217 people have availed rice from the facility.
A total of 3,805 quintals of rice have been distributed
