Bhubaneswar, Nov 14, 2024: The last supermoon of 2024, also known as the Beaver Moon, will grace the skies on November 15. The event, marking the fourth and final supermoon of the year, will begin at 4:29 p.m. EST.
Following the Sturgeon Moon in August, the Harvest Moon in September, and the Hunter’s Moon in October, this supermoon will appear especially bright and large as it rises just after sunset, creating a striking visual display.
The name Beaver Moon comes from North American traditions, signifying the time when beavers prepare for the winter. It is also referred to as the Frost Moon or Snow Moon, marking the onset of colder weather.
