Bhubaneswar:Feb, 12: The Panchratra programme, which began on 5 February 2026 at the Durga Temple in Bapuji Nagar, concluded successfully on its fifth day with a satsang (spiritual congregation) and Ghruta Yajna (sacred fire ritual with clarified butter).
The event was organised on the occasion of the 8th anniversary celebration of the Shri Jagannath Panchratra Prachar Samiti at the Durga Temple, Bapuji Nagar, Bhubaneswar. Devotees from Cuttack and other places participated in the satsang.
Prominent personalities who attended the programme included Radhaballabh Singh, Secretary Prabhakar Mallick, Baikuntha Mahapatra, Niranjan Das, Dr. Narayan Mahapatra, Suresh Mishra, Trilochan Nayak, Bansidhar Nayak, Ravi Narayan Mahapatra, Prabhat Kumar Nanda, Prasanna Mahapatra, and several other distinguished guests and women devotees.
Members and office-bearers of the Durga Temple Committee, including Balakrishna Panda, Pushpalata Pradhan, and Srinivas Rao, were also present.
The five-day Panchratra programme was organised as part of the Samiti’s 8th annual celebration. On the fifth day, revered Mahant and national preacher of Lord Jagannath, Pujya Baba Satyananda Das Maharaj, attended the programme and delivered his blessings and spiritual discourse, blessing all the devotees present.
