Raghunathpur Feb, 20: At present, various conspiracies are reportedly being carried out to weaken Hinduism. Due to the growing trend of aggressive modernism and the adoption of foreign ideologies, food habits, clothing, behavior, thought systems, culture, traditions, lifestyle, and both social and family unity are gradually declining.
In this context, setting aside caste differences, a grand Hindu conference was organized on Tuesday at Sirlo near Raghunathpur. Among those who attended and addressed the gathering were Pujananda Giri Maharaj of the International Kriya Yoga Ashram’s Prajnan Mission, Swami Krishnananda Giri Maharaj, social worker and residential school secretary Sudhakar Madeli, Swami Brahmananda Saraswati Maharaj of Nilachal Ashram, national preacher Srivatsa Das Maharaj of the book Ramcharitmanas, and Anand Chaitanya Brahmachari of Kalpataru Ashram. Devotee representative Rajan Chakraborty of Sirlo and members associated with Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh also participated. Speakers highlighted how weakening Hindu values can be strengthened again.
The program was successfully conducted by senior columnist Kumar Acharya. Rituals such as Surya Puja, Go Puja, and recitation of Hanuman Chalisa were performed. Several individuals—including the mother of martyr Krishnachandra, Kesi Sahu, entrepreneurs, social workers, and journalists—were felicitated.
Vaishnav Charan Gayak led the Hanuman Chalisa chanting, while priests Pandit Jagannath Acharya, Jyoti Prakash Chaini, and Hemant Baba performed the rituals. Coordinators Kamakshya Prasad Das, Mandal coordinators Tapan Nayak, Pabitra Kumar Das, Dulal Bhoi, Chandan Senapati, and others extended cooperation in organizing the event.
