Heavy Rain Leads to Rice Mill Wall Collapse

Kolanara,2nd Sept 2025: For the past two days, heavy rainfall has been continuing across various parts of the district. While this rain has proven beneficial for agricultural activities, there are reports of property damage in certain areas due to the persistent downpour. In Kolanara block, near Bhujabala village, a 100-foot-long wall of the Har Bilas Rice Mill has collapsed as a result of the relentless rain. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported in the incident. According to a revenue inspector, reports have also been received regarding the damage of some mud houses in other areas.
