K. Nuagaon, April 06: A block-level meeting of the Jeevika Suraksha Manch was held at the Madiguda Sanskriti Bhavan in Sarangagarh under K. Nuagaon block of Kandhamal district.
Members and office bearers of the organization from all पंचायत areas of the block participated in the meeting. Several key issues were discussed, including:
Supply of safe drinking water to villages
Permanent solutions to water scarcity during the summer, especially in tube wells
Problems related to old-age pensions
Transportation and connectivity issues in the region
The participants decided to draw the attention of the government toward these demands. It was also decided that these issues would be presented before higher departmental authorities, the District Collector, and the Chief Minister in the coming days.
The meeting was coordinated by Block Jeevika Suraksha Manch coordinator Siddheshwar Nayak, while State committee member Chittaranjan Pradhan attended and elaborated on the organization’s activities.
Other participants included Lachhama Bishoyi, Pradeep Dalbehera, Sinala Pradhan, Choudhury Pradhan, Dillip Pujari, Rajib Pradhan, Shiva Shankar Mallik, Sananda Digal, Rabindra Digal, and others, who actively contributed to the successful conduct of the program.
