Kotpad, Feb 2: The 77th Republic Day was celebrated by the Bharat Media Association at Kotpad with due respect and patriotic fervor. The national flag was hoisted, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. Members of the association paid tribute to the brave martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the nation on January 26.
On the occasion, floral tributes were offered to the statues of great leaders and martyrs of the Kotpad region. Speakers highlighted the importance of patriotism and remembered the sacrifices made for the country’s freedom and progress.
During the program, Advisor Rameshwar Jena, President Ajay Kumar Mishra, Vice-President Sunil Kumar Das, Secretary Bir Kumar Mishra, Treasurer Sudhir Baral, and other members saluted the courage and sacrifice of the martyrs. They reaffirmed the association’s commitment to delivering unbiased news and continuing its social service activities for the welfare of the people.
Kotpad विधायक Rupu Bhatra and other distinguished guests attended the event and praised the efforts of the Bharat Media Association. BJP district representatives including Ashwini Pattnaik, Prahlad Pujari, and others were also present.
The national flag was hoisted by Kumar Mishra. The speakers expressed hope that the association would continue to grow and serve society with dedication in the coming days. Several students and local residents were present during the celebration.
