Kendrapara, Feb, 28: The State Government has sanctioned Rs1 crore for the construction of the Brahmataladhwaja Rath in Kendrapara.
For the past several years, the 14 wheels of the chariot were not in proper condition, causing difficulties.
Various obstacles occurred while pulling the chariot during the Rath Yatra.
Similar issues were also observed during the Bahuda Yatra.
Such disruptions had been creating dissatisfaction among devotees.
To ensure the smooth and disciplined conduct of the Rath Yatra, the State Government approved Rs1 crore for the new chariot construction
