Malkangiri, Feb, 27: A Chief Minister’s Air Health Service Camp is scheduled to be held at the District Headquarters Hospital in Malkangiri from the 24th to the 99th (dates as reported).
Ahead of the camp, a preparatory meeting was conducted under the chairmanship of Dr. Chaudhury Nihar Ranjan Praharaj, Medical Superintendent of the District Hospital. Present at the meeting were District Public Health Officers, senior doctors of the hospital, and hospital administrators.
During the camp, state-level specialist doctors in fields such as neurology, cardiology, nephrology, gastroenterology, endocrinology, laparoscopy, and surgery will provide medical consultation and treatment, including minor surgical procedures.
To raise awareness among district residents, information about the visiting specialist doctors will be disseminated across 7 blocks and Malkangiri urban areas using public address systems.
Residents are requested to attend the camp to avail health check-ups and treatment services from the visiting specialists.
