Nandahandi, 14th Oct 2025: A meeting of the Desia Nataguru Association of Nandahandi block was held at the temporary shelter located within the Dangarvejha Panchayat Samiti office premises.
The meeting was chaired by Association President Bhuban Gouda, and several important matters concerning the organization were discussed. One major issue raised was that the Kalakar Gruha (Artists’ Hall) located within the block office campus has been in a dilapidated condition for a long time, making it unusable for artists to sit or conduct any meetings.
Due to the lack of a proper facility, the artists have been forced to hold meetings in temporary and inconsistent locations. In response, the association submitted a formal request letter to Block Development Officer (BDO) Kshirod Chandra Sahu, urging for the renovation of the old building and for it to be made available for their use.
The BDO assured that arrangements would definitely be made to provide a proper space for the artists.
Among others present at the meeting were association members Arjun Dalai, Gaurahari Satapathy, Tripati Mali, Damburudhara Das, Damu Amanatya, and Satchidananda Padhi, along with several others.
