Mera Yuva Bharat Organises Youth Exchange Initiative in Nabarangpur

Nabarangpur, Feb 2:  The Inter-District Youth Exchange Programme organized by Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat), Nabarangpur, was inaugurated today at the local DRRC. At the outset, Youth Officer V. Ramesh welcomed the participants and briefed them about the objectives of the programme.

District Collector Dr. Maheshwar Swain attended as the Chief Guest and inaugurated the eight-day special programme. He welcomed the 36 selected youths who had arrived from Khordha district to participate in the exchange programme. He encouraged them to explore the culture, historical sites, tourist attractions, and various developmental projects of Nabarangpur district. He also urged them to interact with the local people to understand the pride and heritage of the region.

Among other distinguished guests were Commandant N.K.K. Prasad of the 12th Battalion CRPF and DIPRO Manoj Behera. Addressing the gathering, the guests described the youth as the future of the nation and advised them to build their own distinct identity through self-confidence, hard work, responsibility, strong determination, and patriotism. They also encouraged the participants to learn about the district’s culture, history, freedom struggle memorials, tourist spots, agriculture, cottage industries, local attire, and the lifestyle of tribal communities during their stay.
During the programme, the participating students will visit various tourist destinations of Nabarangpur district, including Podagad, Bhandar Gharani Temple, Pendrani Temple, Kolab Dam, Shaheed Minar, Mangalam Temple, Mukhiguda Dam, Chandandhara, and other important sites. They will also attend educational sessions on youth-related topics to enhance their knowledge.
