Nabarangpur, Dec, 06: Three players from Nabarangpur district have been selected for the Odisha Women’s Tennis Ball Cricket team for the upcoming National Women’s Tennis Ball Cricket Championship, which will be held from December 18 to 21 in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. The players from Nabarangpur selected for the team are Veena Gand, Adyasa Mishra, and Yajnaspini Harijan.
After the news of their selection broke, the Nabarangpur District Cricket Association President Debashish Pattnayak, Secretary Prahlad Tripathi, Vice-President Subhendu Behera, Joint Secretary M. Bal Krishna, District Cricket Association Media Coordinator Manoj Pattnayak, and other members including Ashok Nayak, Durjy Harijan, and Shashank Shekhar Behera extended their best wishes to the players.
