Bhubaneswar, August 18, 2025: The Odisha Government has reaffirmed its commitment to improving child and adolescent nutrition across the state. Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi, during a review of the Women and Child Development Department, highlighted the importance of combating malnutrition and ensuring access to supplementary nutrition.

He stressed effective implementation of key schemes such as ICDS, Mid-Day Meal, and Poshan Abhiyan, calling for strengthened grassroots efforts and better coordination among Anganwadi workers and health officials. The Chief Minister also underlined the need for community participation to achieve long-term nutritional goals.
The state remains focused on safeguarding the health and development of its young population.
