Puri, 3rd Nov 2025: Starting the Mahapanchaka vrata of the month of Kartik will begin. From , the Panchaka vrata will also begin at Shri Kshetra. This time, the Panchaka vrata will be for 4 days instead of 5 days. Considering the large crowds during Panchaka, the district and temple administration have made special arrangements. Only devotees will be allowed to enter through the Singhadwara (Lion Gate) and exit through other gates. Independent barricades have been placed near Market Square. Devotees will enter through the Singhadwara using these barricades. For crowd control, the police administration has made separate arrangements.
