Raighar Feb, 12: Tikichand Khatua has joined as the new Officer-in-Charge (IIC) of Raighar Police Station in Nabarangpur district. He assumed charge after the former IIC, Raghunath Majhi, was transferred to Dabugaon Police Station in Nabarangpur district.
Previously, Tikichand Khatua was serving as a Sub-Inspector at Dhanupali Police Station in Sambalpur district. A few days ago, he was promoted to the rank of Inspector-in-Charge (IIC) and has now taken charge at Raighar Police Station.
After assuming office, the new IIC stated that he will give strict importance to maintaining law and order, conducting MV (motor vehicle) checking, and strengthening patrolling activities.
