Kotpad Feb, 28:The Annual Function was organized for the first time at the Upper Primary School, Narahandi (after 70 years of its establishment).
On this occasion, MP Smt. Manisha Mandal conducted the meeting, Jyoti Rashmi Raut was in charge of prize distribution, and Smt. Annapurna Chalan delivered the vote of thanks. During the cultural program, students presented 12 dance performances beginning with a Ganesh Vandana.
MP representative Chandra Sekhar Das attended as the Chief Guest. The Additional Block Education Officer Shri Banchanidhi Harijan was the Chief Speaker. Among the distinguished guests were Dhamanahandi Sarpanch Smt. Dinamani Randhari, School Management Committee President Shri Kartik Nayak, Ward Member Shri Nilakantha Nayak, and respected villagers Shri Ram Nayak and Ramdhar Harijan.
The Headmaster of the school, Shri Kali Prasad Behera, presented the annual report, while the Assistant Teacher also addressed the gathering. MP representative Chandra Sekhar Das assured that steps would be taken to resolve the problems of the school.
The evening function concluded beautifully. The Headmaster stated that the event became successful due to the unparalleled support of the villagers, the tireless efforts of the staff, and the enthusiasm and keen interest of the students.
