Balasore, Feb, 7: The annual function of Suryapur Government Upper Primary School under Dhusuri in Dhamnagar block of Bhadrak district was held under the अध्यक्षता of distinguished freedom fighter Ramahari Goswami.
Dhusuri Sarpanch Antaryami Pati attended as the Chief Guest, while noted educationist Pandit Nrusingha Charan Nayak joined as the Chief Speaker. Among the honored guests were Education Coordinator Abhaya Sahu, educationists Nirod Behera and Basudev Samal, retired Headmaster Ramakanta Parida, Hemanta Sutar, and social worker Braja Bihari Goswami. Retired teacher Narendra Goswami conducted the proceedings of the stage.
The Headmistress of the school, Annapurna Tarai, presented the annual report. Assistant teacher Bikash Kumar Nayak, teachers Sasmita Majhi and Parbati Mani Das, members of the School Management Committee, and parents helped organize and conduct the programme.
At the end of the meeting, meritorious students who had participated in various competitions were awarded prizes. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by senior assistant teacher Raghunath Swain.
